Request the booking photograph separately. Ask for electronic delivery, an itemized estimate, and release of segregable nonexempt fields if some information is withheld.
The posted schedule lists $11.72 per hour for search or copy labor, $0.25 per paper copy, and actual cost for special reproduction. Electronic transmission has no per-page copy fee, though qualifying labor may still apply. A deposit of up to 25 percent may be required. The policy allows ten business days for the determination on current records and twenty business days for records older than 24 months. Production generally follows within 30 or 35 calendar days after final determination, subject to deposit and written extensions.

The active county detention page identifies 205 East Church Street as the operating Saluda County Detention Center. Separate procurement and funding materials describe a new detention-center and EMS project at 175 Public Safety Drive. A county ordinance records a construction award dated April 8, 2024 and additional contemplated funding, but project documents are not an opening announcement.
Until Saluda County changes its official operating page, direct release inquiries and pickup questions to the East Church Street contact and main phone. Do not present Public Safety Drive as a release exit, waiting point, records counter, or active jail address. Search results can surface construction documents out of context, which creates a real risk of sending a family to the wrong location.
The distinction can be checked through the active facility page, the county's construction invitation, and the funding ordinance. Treat the latter two as project history unless a newer official operations notice says otherwise.

Saluda Release on ICE Detainer
An immigration detainer is a request that a custodial agency notify ICE before release and maintain custody for up to 48 hours so ICE may assume custody through the applicable process. It holds local pretrial detainees and people serving eligible local sentences. It is not an SCDC prison, federal prison, or ICE detention center.
